Grand Casino Brussels Viage opened its doors in April 2010. As part of the Casinos Austria group, the new place-to-be, a real temple of relaxation with play areas, bars, restaurants and shows, was about to embark on its own unique path. VIAGE, a name that balances between the Italian viaggio and the Spanish viaje, means in both cases adventure and travel. Thanks to the parent company, Viage, together with all employees and customers, has already experienced an exciting expedition in recent years.

The origins of the Casinos Austria Group go back to 1934 when the first casinos opened in Austria. Since 1968, the group has had concessions for twelve casinos throughout Austria. Each year, these casinos welcome more than 2.4 million guests. They offer the fun of casino gaming, combined with a stylish ambiance, entertainment and event facilities and even multi-award winning cuisine. Over the years, Austrian casinos has firmly established itself as a leading tourism company generating high local and national added value.

International

The Group has since grown beyond its national roots and is now one of the few operators worldwide that can provide extensive and innovative solutions for all sectors of the game industry from a single source. Founded in 1977, Casinos Austria International (CAI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Casinos Austria AG and manages the group's extensive international operations from its headquarters in Vienna. Over the decades, they have created more than 300 game and entertainment locations on all five continents and on the seven seas. Together with their local partners, they currently operate casinos and video lottery terminals in nine countries around the world. They all make a valuable contribution to tourism in the region. The needs, tastes and traditions of the host community are key everywhere. The global know-how the group has gained is adapted to the local markets and the casino's integration into the community is always important.
